Mission Woman Commits Suicide in Mysore

Bantwal, Apr 22: A married woman who was missing since 3 weeks has committed suicide along with her lover, while she died and her lover lies is critical condition.

The deceased has been identified as thirty-five-year-old Mohini, wife of Babu Poojary, native of Kariangala village, near here.  Her lover Narendra is battling for life at K R Hospital, Mysore.  Mysore police handed over her nine-year-old Manisha at the care of child welfare Committee.

Mohini is native of Sanoor Padav in Kariangala village here.  She was reported missing along with her daughter Manisha 3 weeks ago, when she had gone to give finished bidi at the local branch located at Kaikamba, near here.

Meanwhile, Babu Poojary lodged a complaint at Bantwal rural police station that he suspected Mohini had eloped with her lover – Narendra, native of Teertahalli in Shimoga district.

Mohini was found dead and her lover Narendra was battling for life after consuming poison at Sudarshan Lodge, in Mysore on Saturday April 20 night.  The lovers had arrived in Mysore on April 9 and financial adversity led to commit suicide, informed the police.
