Mangaluru: Mortal remains of a youth who had gone missing two days ago was found at Netravati river at Ullal.

The youth who has been identified as Hafeez, a resident of Bastipadpu of Ullal, had gone missing on Friday, August 20. The remains were found at Kotepura-Bengre estuary.

According to reports, Hafeez was a daily wage labourer and he had left home on Friday morning. When he did not return home at night, the family members began searching for him.

Upon searching, his two-wheeler, slippers and mobile phone were found parked near the Netravati bridge on Saturday, August 21.

His body was found and retrieved after a prolonged search by police officials, fire personnel and local fishermen.
