Mangaluru: The body of a woman who had gone missing under mysterious circumstances was found in a charred state near Yekkar on Friday December 18.

The deceased has been identified as Usha Shetty (29), wife of Ashwin Shetty, a resident of Jeppinamogaru.

According to sources, Usha had gone missing since Thursday December 17. Prima facie, it looks like she has been murdered.

Her body has been sent for autopsy. Investigations are underway.
