Miscreants damage newly constructed house at Byndoor

Kundapur :  A newly constructed house belonging to a person named Mohammad Sultan at Nakatte in Byndoor was partially destroyed  by miscreants on July 17, Wednesday night. According to the house owner the miscreants might have possibly used some explosives as one portion of the house is completely damaged. The loss has been estimated at around Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 12 lakhs.


The house owner, in his complaint with the police has named Faizal Ali, Mawada Hassan and Sumkudru Mukhtiyar as the accused. Byndoor police are conducting the investigations.

In another development, Anduka, a journalist and a relative of Mohammad Sultan who convened a press meet here has alleged that the police have not evinced much interest in investigating the case and also to  arrest the accused despite the case being of serious nature. She also stated that higher officials have not visited the house. She said the family members have demanded police protection as they fear their life.

The house owner Mohammad Sultan, Ummar Farooq were also present.
