Ullal: A 16-year-old student of a private school has allegedly been abducted by a youth here at Ullal station limits.

On February 20, the girl who had been to school didnot return home. When her family members inquired the neighbours, they found that a youth from their neighbourhood too had gone missing.

It is now suspected that the same youth has abducted the girl and a case has been registered at Ullal police station.

The 21-year-old youth from Kumpala Moorukatte is a Bajrang Dal activist as well.

The parents are suspecting that the youth had developed friendship with the girl and he might have lured the girl before abducting her.

The police have taken some of his friends for questioning.
