Mangaluru: A meeting was held to implement the programme of “Hadilu Gaddeyalli Bhattha Beleyona” (growing paddy in barren land) under the presidentship of Dakshina Kannada District in-charge Minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary here on Thursday, June 3.

The meeting was held at Ganjimutt. Mangalore Municipal Councilor Dr. Y. Bharat Shetty, officers of the State Government Agriculture Department, Tahsildar Guruprasad, Ganjimutt Gram Panchayat President Nonaiah Kotian, and Gram Panchayat Development Officers were present.

Several farmers too participated at the meeting.
