Min Angara directs officials to take necessary actions to curb Covid – 19

Mangaluru: Minister S Angara directed the officials to take all the necessary actions to curb the further spread of Covid 19 in the district.

Speaking to the media here at the DC office on Friday, August 6 he said, “There should be no shortage of doctors, lab technicians, and ANMs in all taluks, appointments should be made as early as possible. All taluks should be regularly inspected to detect Covid infection and Covid positive patients must shift at the Covid care center.”

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra KV said that the members of the BPL family who died of Covid infection will get Rs 1 lakh. Regarding this, we have received a circular from the state government to provide compensation.

DC instructed the tahsildars to prepare a list of rules in this regard.

He further said, “The compensation of Rs 10000 will be given to the families who have lost their homes due to the heavy rains immediately.”
