Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Corporation Mayor Kavitha Sanil launched seven development programmes in city at a cost of Rs 2.45 Crore here on July 29.

Mangaluru South MLA J R Lobo, Mangaluru North MLA Mohiudeen Bava, Deputy Mayor Rajanish and others were present.

The development programmes include creation of Padavinangadi Circle, circle at St. Agnes College, Circle at City Hopsital, Karavali Circle, Circle at Bendoor Well, Nandigudda graveyard, Valencia Ward Office and drainage development.

The estimated budget is Rs 50 Lakh for Padavinangadi Circle, Rs 25 Lakh for St. Agnes Circle, Rs 15 Lakh for City Hospital Circle and Karavali Circle, Rs 60 Lakh for Bendoor Well Circle, Rs 45 Lakh for Valencia Ward Office and Rs 50 Lakh for Nandigudda Graveyard.

MCC Commissioner M Nazeer, MCC Chief Whip Shashidhar Hegde, corporators Harinath, Rauf, Mahabala Maarla and others were present.
