Mangaluru: A ‘yellow alert’ has been issued for Dakshina Kannada District by the Indian Meteorological Department on Sunday May 8.

IMD has issued a new weather advisory, predicting thunderstorms and rains along the coast.

The Dakshina Kannada District witnessed a partly cloudy and sunny day on Saturday. The mercury reached a high of 33.1 degrees Celsius in Mangaluru, with a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius, informed the Met Department.
