Manipal Ace holds two-day Education Expo

Mangalore: South Karnataka’s No. 1 event management company, Manipal Ace is hosting  a two-day Education Expo-2014, at  the Dr TMA Pai International Convention Centre here on May 10 and 11.

The mega event was inaugurated this morning,  by A. B. Ibrahim deputy commissioner of DK Mangalore, who was the chief guest for  the occasion in the presence of K. R Shenoy, Executive Director of Vijaya Bank; Ramakrishna of Indian Overseas Bank and Vinod Kumar, CEO of Manipal Media Network, who were the guests of honour for the event,

Kumble Narasimha Prabhu, MD & CEO of Manipal Ace delivered the welcome speech and briefed the gathering about the exhibition’s  theme, objectives, format and other details.

After inaugurating the expo, AB Ibrahim said, “Today education has become very expensive. However investment in education is done by everyone. Thus such an initiative by the Manipal Ace group is truly commendable as it gives the children a broader perspective.” The DC suggested that the students choose the best options and wished them luck.

In his presidential address KR Shenoy said, “Dakshina Kannada has stood first in terms of PUC results as well as scored various ranks in other examinations. DK has always been known as an education hub and various other fields of education have been emerging from here.  It is in this context that, such an expo helps children to widen their perspectives and resolve all their queries.”

 Vinod Kumar, CEO of Manipal Media Network also addressed the audience, following which mementoes were presented to the dignitaries.

The Expo has more than 35 stalls. Participants  include CMS Business School of Jain University, Syndicate Bank (Education Loans), Nitte University, PA College of Engineering, Indian Overseas Bank (Education Loans), Manipal University, AJ Institute of Management, Mangalore Marine College and Technology, Indian Institute of Logistics – Chennai, Srinivas Group of College, Karavali Group of College, Mangalore Institute of Technology, Western Institute of Technology and others.
