Mangaluru’s air quality to be checked

Mangaluru: As many as 12 places in the city will undergo air quality checking. A local NGO, APD Foundation in association with St George’s Homeopathy has taken up the task of checking air quality.

City-based laboratory, OneEarth Enviro Labs will gather data and send it to the government for suitable action. A detailed study will be made based on five parameters. The report will be submitted to the District Administration, Karnataka State Pollution Control Board and District in-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai.

Pumpwell, Kankanady, PVS Junction, Lalbagh, Hampankatta, Central Market, Jyothi, Attavar, Nanthoor, Bejai, Bunder and Baikampady are the areas which will be monitored under five parameters.
