Mangaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive on the coast on May 3. This time he is not only coming as Prime Minister but as the world’s No. 1 leader, said Dakshina Kannada District BJP President Sudarshan Moodabidri. He said that the convention will be a success despite all the records of his earlier visit and thus will create a new history.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP’s media office here on Monday May 1, he said PM Modi’s rally will be held at 10.30 am near Kolnadu in Mulki on the Dakshina Kannada-Udupi border and lakhs of BJP workers, Modi fans and voters from 13 Assembly constituencies in the two Districts will come in lakhs. Meetings are being held under the leadership of BJP candidates in all Assembly constituencies in the District to make the convention a success, he said.
Modi’s arrival will speed up the election campaign, inspire and give special strength to the party workers. With this, we will win all the eight seats in the District and come back to power in the state, he said.
State Spokesperson Ganesh Karnik, prominent leaders Monappa Bhandari, Kasthuri Panja and Sanjay Prabhu were present.
