Mangaluru: An incident took place on June 10 at Pulthadka on Savanalu Road when a tree fell on an electric pole and the pole broke.
It started raining in many parts of the Taluk from the morning of June 10 and the wind was strong in some places. Thus, a huge tree fell on an electric pole in Pulthadka of Laila Village on the road to Savanalu, as a result of which the pole broke and the electric wires fell on the road.
After getting information about this, MESCOM staff including Kittana and others have cleared power lines and the Forest Department has cleared trees to enable vehicular traffic.
