Mangaluru to have more flights from Sunday

Mangaluru: Two new daily flights (international and domestic each) will start operations from Mangaluru International Airport on March 29, a press release issued by J.T Radhakrishna, director, Mangaluru International Airport stated.

According to the press release, Jet Airways will introduce its daily flight (9W501) between Mangaluru and Abu Dhabi with the following schedule: Arrival from Abu Dhabi at 1.45 pm and departure (as flight 9W502) here at 5.50 pm.

The same airliner is operating a daily flight between Mangaluru and Dubai. The new flight will be its 10th daily flight from Mangaluru. It is operating eight domestic flights from the airport.

In addition to it, SpiceJet will operate a flight between Mangaluru and Bengaluru from March 29. The flight (SG 1035) will arrive here from Bengaluru at 4.55 pm and leave as flight SG 1032 at 5.15pm.

It would be the third domestic daily flight of SpiceJet from Mangaluru. It is operating a flight each to Bengaluru and Mumbai from the city.
