Mangaluru: Deputy Leader of Opposition U. T. Khader said that action should be taken against those who create unrest and hatred in society.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday September 27, he said that there is a consensus of all religions for action against organisation that create unrest in society. It is the responsibility of the Government to keep those who take the law into their hands under control. Further, the Government must create an atmosphere of peace and harmony. Let the government take action without any discrimination, he added.
“If everyone is given the same kind of justice, everyone will support them. Everyone will support the Government if injustice is not done to the innocent. Religious gurus and ulemas in our State have not raised their voices against this attack. Has any religious leader raised objections to the attack? All religions support a fair investigation. However, the Government should ensure that discrimination and injustice are not done to anyone. Apart from that, no one has ever raised any objection to this. The investigation will reveal which institution should be banned. But bring the law of equality to all organisations. If it is a hate-based and riot-ridden act, bring the same law to all organisations, he urged
