Mangaluru: Ananya S. Rao and Apoorva S. Rao known as the ‘Mangaluru Sisters’ will perform Bharatanatyam at Leh and Kargil on July 22 and July 24. They will present Bharatanatyam before Indian Army personnel at Leh, Khumba Thang, and at Kargil on July 22, 24 and 26, according to a release.

The girls, are second year pre-university science students and Doordarshan-graded artistes  will present the show at Rinchen auditorium, Leh, on July 22.

The performance at Khumba Thang would be on July 24. They will perform at Kargil on July 26, on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Divas.

They are the disciples of Vidushi Vidyashree Radhakrishna and were undergoing training for Vidwat in Bharatanatyam, a  press release said.

They have presented more than 300 shows so far. Last year they presented a show at a programme organised by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) at Colombo, Sri Lanka.
