Mangaluru: There is no difference of opinion within the party and though I am contesting elections as per the party’s order, I am an ordinary party worker and have been working for the party in the past and I am thankful to the national president, state president and chief minister for giving me the opportunity to be a candidate, said Satish Kumpala.

Speaking after being announced as the BJP candidate from Ullal assembly constituency, Hegde said, “We are committed to the party’s ideology and work together. From the problem of drinking water to many problems, the people of the constituency have been experiencing many problems. The BJP’s victory is inevitable to stop the policy. Having been working as a BJP worker in the Sangh for many years, it is an honour for an ordinary worker that the high command has given me a seat this time,” he said.
