Mangaluru: Bigg Boss OTT and season 9 winner Roopesh Shetty has announced at a press conference that the much-awaited Tulu movie “Circus” will be released worldwide on June 23.
Speaking on the occasion, Yash Shetty said, “I am entering the Tulu film industry through ‘Circus’. It’s been a pleasure to work with senior artists of Tulu theatre. As a child, I used to walk for kilometres to watch plays and today I have been acted with them.”
Kuseldarase Naveen D. Padil, said “There is a lot of emphasis on comedy in Circus,Tulu cinema. It will make a noise not only in Tulunadu but also in the entire world. Roopesh Shetty has worked so well in the film. All of you should watch the film to make their efforts worthwhile.”
On this occasion, Aravind Bolar said, “Circus has a beautiful story where a family can sit and watch along with comedy. Everyone should come to the cinema theatre and watch the film, make it a grand success.
At the press meet Manjunath Attavar, Rupesh Shetty, Yash Shetty, Rachana Rai, Aravind Bolar, Naveen D. Padil, Prasanna Shetty Bylur, film distributor Sachin A.S. Uppinangady, Loy Saldanha, Naveen Shetty and others were present.
51 premiere shows worldwide!
The film has already had 51 premiere shows in the country and abroad even before its release. The film has received an overwhelming response and the film will be released in abroad simultaneously.
After the stupendous success of ‘Girigit’, the biggest hit in Tulu cinema, ‘Circus’ is the second film directed by Roopesh Shetty and Prasanna Shetty Bylur, who has written the dialogues for Girigit, has also written the dialogues for this film.
“Salaga” Yash Shetty is making his debut in Tulu cinema through ‘Circus’. Similarly, actress Rachana Rai has been introduced to the Tulu film industry.
‘Girigit’ is one of the most successful comedy films in Tulu films. Girigit has been released in many countries and has performed exceptionally well. Now the same team has made a film ‘Circus’.
