Mangaluru: The garbage disposal problem in Mangaluru City has worsened as the protest by Pourakarmikas working through outsourcing continued for the 12th day.

The strike has not only created a problem of waste disposal but also a lot of problem as far as drainage system is concerned. Even the Corporation Authorities are left with no alternative.

Angered by all these issues, the retired journalists staged a protest in front of the City Corporation by placing garbage brought from their homes in front of the City Corporation.
