Mangaluru: Popular Front of India (PFI) District President Ijaz Ahmed, Leaders Firoz Khan, Razique, Mujawar, Noufal and eight others were taken into custody and they have been now produced before Taluk Magistrate under the police station limits

Later, police brought all of them to District Prison in Kodialbail in the City.

Police have detained under CrPC 107 and 151 for possible protests and rioting.

Raids were conducted in Ullal, Kavoor, Surathkal, Bajpe and Puttur areas in the City outskirts.
