Mangaluru: Vidhana Parishad MLA Pratap Simha Naik congratulated the BJP-led Prime Minister Narendra Modi government for banning the Popular Front of India.

He was addressing a press conference at the Tourist Hall here. It is a testimony that it will take ruthless action against any kind of forces that disturb the unity of the country, he said and added that he congratulates the Government, the Prime Minister and the Home Minister.

He said that the Central Government of BJP, which came to power 8 years ago, has taken steps which are acceptable in the world and has worked for peace, harmony and trust in the society. PFI has created an atmosphere of fear for the people by engaging in different activities by disrupting the peace and harmony of the country and working to disrupt the peace in a coordinated manner in all parts of the country. There is also a systematic conspiracy behind Praveen Nettaru’s murder, he said and added that the PFI organisation has been banned by the National Investigation Agency after conducting raids across the country, collecting evidence and taking precautionary measures by the State police on suspicion, where the organisation has links abroad through states like Kerala, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

“Keeping development as the basic mantra, the BJP Government at the Centre and the State is working to deliver basic amenities to the poor people of the society from door to door. In just 8 years, BJP has shown development work which was not done during 60 years of Congress power at the Centre. Congress is weak in the country as it is currently in power in only 2 states, he said.

By making baseless accusations, the leaders of the Congress party have taken up low-level work such as putting up posters. If there are such allegations, BJP itself has given strong authority to Lokayukta, and if there is evidence, can’t they complain to Lokayukta?, He questioned. A low level of slander will not bring glory to the Congress, he said and added that the Bharatiya Janata Party will come to power by securing more than 150 seats in the next State elections.

Bharatiya Janata Party Belthangady Mandala President Jayanta Kotian, and General Secretary Ganesh Gowda Navoor were present.
