Mangaluru: A rash and reckless private bus driver, who hit and killed a 34-year-old woman in Kottara, has been arrested by the police.

The suspect has been identified as Sharan Kumar.

The deceased Megha Ranjit Pai was crossing the road on December 3 when she was hit by a bus that had been driven carelessly and rashly.

Megha was rushed for treatment at a nearby hospital, but on December 6 she passed away.
