Mangaluru: Four rare white blackbucks and four Nilgai have been added to the Pilikula Zoo in the City.

These animals were brought from the International Zoo in Nagpur’s Balasaheb Thackeray Zoological Park under the Wildlife Exchange Scheme with the permission of the Central Zoo Authority. From here 6 reticulated pythons and 4 greys were sent.

Pilikula already has 50 blackbucks and 25 reticulated pythons. Nilgai are the largest animals found in Asia.
