Mangaluru: As many as 16 passengers were injured when a When a VRL bus coming towards Mangaluru from Mumbai overturned at Gunavanthe near Honnavar in Uttara Kannada district on Wednesday, September 28.

According to sources, out of the 16 injured, 7 were women and 9 were men. All of them have been shifted to a private hospital in Manipal. Two passengers are said to be in serious condition.

It is gathered that the bus overturned when it was speeding and trying to overtake another vehicle. The bus had 31 passengers in total.
