Mangaluru: A mother and child died in a car accident in Parappa near the Jalsur-Kasargod road, while four other people suffered serious injuries on Monday December 12.
The deceased have been identified as Shahina (28) and Shaja (3), wife and child of Shaan, a resident of Parappa.
According to the sources, around six people were travelling in the car to attend a wedding function. The Innova car lost its control, overturned, and crashed into a tree.
The mother and child died on spot due to the impact and the other four passengers were severely injured. They were rushed to a hospital in the City for treatment.
