Mangaluru: The Officers of Mangaluru Customs at Mangaluru International Airport on Wednesday August 10 seized 24 carat gold.

The net weight of the gold seized was 831 grams of value Rs. 43, 29, 520. The gold was seized from a passenger hailing from Kasargood who arrived from Dubai by Air India Express flight No. IX814.

The gold in the paste form was packed in white adhesive tape pouch which was concealed inside a stitched pocket of the undergarment worn by the passenger.
