Mangaluru: A man who allegedly misbehaved with a girl was tied to a pole and beaten up. The incident happened in Mulki’s Kerekadu village on Saturday December 17.

On December 13, the man allegedly followed a girl on his bike and misbehaved with her. This was noted by two of the girl’s father’s friends.

The same person was caught, tied to a pole, and brutally assaulted on Saturday when he was spotted in the same area. Later, he was handed over to the police.

Based on the girl’s parent’s complaint, a POCSO case has been filed against him by Mulki Police. Based on the man’s complaint, police also filed a countercase of assault.
