Mangaluru: A man died after falling into the Netravati River near Panemagaluru Bridge on Thursday January 12.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Poojary, a resident of Sajipa. . His death’s exact cause is still unknown.

According to sources, the locals who saw a two-wheeler abandoned near the old Panemangaluru bridge called the police and the fire station.

Officers from the local fire department and divers from the area conducted a search and found Rajesh’s mortal remains.

Police suspect that Rajesh might have met with an accident before falling into the river.

A case has been registered in this regard.
