Mangaluru: A truck hit a middle-aged man crossing the street in Kottara Chowky, killing him on spot on Wednesday October 26.

According to sources, the truck ran over Ashok, a 45-year-old Akash Bhavan resident.

Ashok had parked his two-wheeler and was trying to cross the road when the truck struck him. He was rushed to a hospital but was declared brought dead.

Mangaluru North Traffic Police have registered a case and further investigation is on.
