Mangaluru: Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah said that I will not answer Nalin Kumar Kateel’s statement. He’s like a joker. He speaks very childishly and irresponsibly. He’s like a clown in the BJP, and I don’t talk about him, he alleged and reiterated.
Speaking to mediapersons and thereby replying to the statement by Kateel that he will be sent to jail before the elections, he said that it is the duty of Court and BJP has no right over it.
“Moreover despite everything the State’s interest matters to us,” he added.
Answering about his candidature in Ullal Constituency, he reacted “I am not a nomad politician. I am being called to contest in Kolar Badami and Varuna Constituency too, but it is all left to the High Command. I don’t want to say no to Ullal, it’s left to the High Command. There’s a lot of corruption happening in this Government. The Government contractors who couldn’t pay 40 per cent commission and someone like Santhosh paid the price by dying. Just the other day, Prasad died, and another asked for mercy. If money is given to this Government, no-objection certificate (NOC) is given and development is done, he alleged.
