Mangaluru: Hindu leader Satyajeet Surathkal gunman security withdrawn by police. Bodyguard provided to Satyajeet has been withdrawn during the announcement of State Assembly elections.
The withdrawal has led to many suspicions by the Government and the police. There has been an outrage on social media over the Department’s move.
A memorandum of understanding has already been sent to Satyajeet by Mangaluru Police officials in this regard. Security will no longer be provided at the cost of the Government, it is suggested and he has been asked to pay if required.
In response, Satyajeet Surathkal has written letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru.
“I am not financially strong enough to pay and keep security,” he has mentioned.
