Mangaluru: The Customs Officials have seized 1163 grams of gold worth Rs. 60,24,340 at Mangaluru International Airport here in the City on Sunday June 26.

The passenger is as a resident of Kasaragod. He was apprehended when he landed in the airport from Dubai. The gold was concealed in four oval shaped packets and was in the form of a paste.

A case has been registered. Further investigation is on.
