Mangaluru: A man from the City lost Rs. 2 lakh to scammers running a fake matrimonial website.

It is alleged that the man visited the marriage website FMB Elite Marriage Bureau (A1) while looking for a groom for his daughter.

When he called the number listed on the website, he was told that he needed to pay Rs .2 lakh to register.

The person transferred the money, but he received no response. Later, he filed a complaint to the local police station.
