Mangaluru: The residents of Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu District woke up to a earthquake measuring 1.8 magnitude in the Richter scale on the morning of Sunday July 10.
According to the KSNDMC data, the epicentre of this earthquake was in Aranthodu Grama Panchayat in Sullia Taluk.
The tremors were felt around many villages of this border area.
It can be recalled that for the last few days, the border area of Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu is witnessing repeated seismic activities. Rain fury, flood, and landslides are adding to the fear of local residents.
