Mangaluru: DHO advises on precautionary measures for viral fever

Mangaluru: Many children in the Dakshina Kannada District are showing symptoms of a viral infection. District Health Officer Dr. Kishore Kumar has advised the infected children to stay home and recover so that there is no spread.

Speaking to mediapersons on Monday August 8, the DHO said that though viral fever has symptoms that includes fever with blisters there was no need to panic. Though there is no specific treatment, children will be well in few days.

He also advised parents not to send children to school until they have blisters.
