Mangaluru: The curfew in Mangaluru is being relaxed for two hours in order to facilitate Friday prayers.

The curfew will be relaxed between 12 PM and 2 PM today.

Meanwhile, an uneasy calm prevails in the city, after anti-CAA protests took a violent turn on Thursday, resulting in the death of two civilians.

Police security has been beefed up in the communally sensitive areas of the city and shops and other establishments remain shut.

Lathi-charge was also witnessed in several parts of the city.
