Mangaluru: A bus and a motorcycle collided on Friday October 7 at Koovethila bend between Kabaka and Mittur, causing serious injuries to the rider.

The person injured in the collision has been identified as Jagga alias Jagadish Gowda (28), a resident of Koovethila and a tanker driver by profession. Jagadish was riding from the opposite side of the bus as it travelled from B. C. Road to Puttur.

At Koovethila’s turn, both cars collided head-on. The motorcycle slipped beneath the bus’s front section as a result of the collision’s force. The injured Jagadish’s friend owned the motorcycle, which he had just bought a week ago. Jagadish, who is hurt, is taken into a Puttur private hospital.
