Mangaluru: “Let’s wait and see if the BJP will make more progress than expected in this election,” BJP national general organising secretary B L Santhosh said.

He was replying to a media query when he visited the election office of Mangaluru City North Assembly constituency in Kavoor. Jagadish Shettar remained silent without commenting on his resignation from the BJP.

The sitting MLA held talks with North candidate Dr Bharath Shetty and encouraged the party workers to work hard for the party’s victory. BJP candidate Dr. BJP leaders and workers, including Bharath Shetty Y, were present.
