Mangaluru: A student sustained serious injuries after being hit by a bike at Okketthur.
The injured has been identified as Fatima Nida, daughter of Basheer. She is a class 5 student at Vitla Government School.
According to sources, the incident happened while she was waiting for an auto rickshaw to take her to school. The bike rammed into her and dragged her for some distance.
She was rescued by the locals, and she is receiving medical treatment at a hospital in the City.
