Mangaluru: A corpse of a man from Bengaluru was found hanging in a lodge at Darbe, Puttur of Dakshina Kannada District in the midnight of Tuesday October 18.

The deceased man is suspected to be aged about 51. On Sunday he had booked a lodge in Puttur. Eventually, his body was body was found hanging.

The Puttur Town Station Police arrived at the scene to collect the body and transported it for postmortem to Puttur Government Hospital.

The investigation is on to identify the deceased.
