Mangaluru: Opposition Leader and MLA U. T. Khader turned against the Government for betraying Kannadigas by not stopping hooliganism.
The BJP Government in the State has not taken any bold step to stop the Belagavi hooliganism, which has created panic. Opposition Leader U. T. Khader said it was a betrayal of Kannadigas.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has not made a statement regarding miscreants throwing stones at vehicles in State and damaging vehicles. Will the double-engine Government keep quiet when people are facing difficulties?,” he asked.
“Why is the Centre not warning the Government of Maharashtra? Why is the Centre hiding the Mahajan report?” he asked. “Is the BJP’s Central and State Government trying to take political mileage out of the issue?” he asked.
