Mangaluru: In what can be termed as good news to aircrafts flying to Mangaluru International Airport (MIA), ultra modern services will soon be provided to flights visiting the airport.
MIA Director, JT Radhakrishna stated that plan worth Rs 18 crore will be is being implemented with an aim to provide ultra modern services visiting Mangaluru airport. Flight service equipment including safety aspects will be implemented by March 2017, he said.
The old gadgets like high frequency omni directional radio range, monopulse secondary surveillance radar, and instrument landing system will be replaced with modern equipments, said Radhakrishna.
