Mangaluru: A scuffle broke out between the ABVP activists who tried to enter the University Syndicate Meeting and the police who tried to stop them.

ABVP activists staged a protest against the delay in Mangaluru University results. Police stopped them from laying siege to the Administrative Building of Mangalore University at Konaje in Mangaluru. The ABVP activists tried to break through the barricades and later the University’s Registrar Prof. P. L. Dharma and Vice-Chancellor P. S. Yadapadithaya reached the spot.

The students have complained that the University has been struggling to provide marksheets to undergraduate and postgraduate students, which has resulted in them not being able to apply for scholarships.
