Mangalore : A team of state BJP leaders including Suresh Kumar, Sunil Kumar and Kota Srinivas Poojari will be in Mangalore on May 21 to hold a district level meeting of the party and conduct an introspection on the factors that led to the defeat of the BJP in the recently held assembly elections.
Informing this to reporters here, Pratap Sinha Nayak, District BJP in-charge said the party has constituted separate teams which will be visiting each district to hold such meetings.
Nayak alleged that the Central government was involved in rampant corruption and informed that the BJP will be holding a Jail Bharo agitation on May 27 to create awareness among the masses in this regard.
Nayak who urged the Congress government in the state to ensure good administration at the same time came down heavily on the Government plans to revoke the Anti- Cow Slaughter Bill proposed by the previous BJP government.
MLC Monappa Bhandari, former Fisheries Development Corporation chairman Nitin Kumar, Pushpalatha Gatti were present at the press meet.
