Mangalore:On the eve of World Heart Day, The Mangalore Heart Scan Foundation will launch the Cardiac Calcium Scan(CCS) Scan on 29th of October Sunday at Hotel Taj Gateway said Dr. Mukund, the chief of the foundation.

He was addressing the press meet held in the Mangalore Club on 26th of September.
He said, “The Scan facility will be inaugurated by Dr.KR Shetty, Proffessor of Neurology. Eminent doctors, Dr. CR Kamath, Dr, AV Shetty, Dr.KV Devadiga, Dr. Prabhu and others will also be present at the occasion.”

Dr.Achar and Dr.Prabhakar of the foundation were present at the occasion.

CCS scan facility comprises of Multi Detection Computerized Tomography  among its specialized equipments. The new procedure, will be a simple test for coronary artery blocks at much lower cost.

The foundation has successfully completed over 7 years and has been providing the public, the facilities like ECG, TMT, Echo, CT scan of entire body, round the clock with expert advice from eminent cardiologists.
