Mangaluru: In view of providing quality education to medical students, Mangala Trust has started one of its kind, Mangala Academy of Medical Coaching (MAMC) at Neermarga, here.

Brainchild of Chairman of Mangala Trust Dr Ganapathi Pai along with Dr Singi Yatiraj, author of over a dozen hit medical books, the academy would be involved in imparting knowledge to first year medical students in simplified and examination oriented approach.

Dr Pai said that as the first year of medical college is one of the toughest year for any medical student and that they get little time to prepare for the exams, which they have to clear to enter the second year, the academy has been setup to cater to their needs.

Dr Singi said that the students will be taught what to learn and how to reproduce the answers in a very concrete manner. He pointed that classes will be held only on weekends for about five-six months.

Classes will be held in Mangala Campus, Vidyanagar, Neermarga from March 1.
