Mangaluru: This man made hay when the sun shined. Seizing opportunity when the families revelled and enjoyed during roce ceremonies, Abdul (45) stole away valuables.

Resident of Jarinagar in Bajpe, he was nabbed by the cops in Kaikamba on Monday and 380 gms of gold was seized from him.

In most of the cases, as revealed by Abdul, he has fled with valuables when the roce ceremonies were on. Four specific cases revealed by him have been the ones from Bajpe-Kateel road, Polytechnic road, Katte and Ambikanagar.
