Ullal: A 5-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by a man who was living on rent in his residence near Kotekar on Sunday. Following assault the Ullal police arrested and have booked the culprit under POCSO Act.
Hareesh Bangera(40), a welder by profession and a resident of Kotekar is the accused. The victim, the son of the owner of the house where Bangera was living was lured by Bangera on evening.

The boy was then forced to sexual act by Bangera, it is learnt. The victim after a day of assault informed his parents and a complaint was registered at Ullal police station.

It is learnt that the accused was involved in similar cases and his wife and children had deserted him due to the same reason.
