Mangaluru: A man with 26 passports was nabbed at Mangaluru International Airport.The accused identified as Abdullah Palakkan was nabbed for possessing passports of as many as 26 citizens, including two USA nationals.

None of the passports carried authorization letter and hence Abdullah was arrested. As per the Passport Act 1967, a passport should not be sent out of any country by post. It should be in the custody of either the holder or a person authorised by the holder. Abdulla was about to leave for Dubai from Mangaluru by flight number 9W 532. During security check the matter came to light.

The case has been handed over to Bajpe police station for further investigation.
