Man attacked near Lalbagh by six unidentified men

Mangaluru: Deepak was attacked by a group of six unidentified miscreants near Lalbagh on Sunday, February 7. Sources said that the attackers noticed a Shivaji sticker on Deepak’s two-wheeler and upon realising that he was a Hindu activist, attacked him.

According to the victim, the accused came in on two bikes. The attack on Deepak left him with an injury on his left forearm. He was admitted to the Wenlock hospital where the Mangaluru MLA Vedyvyas Kamath visited him and directed the police to capture the culprits as soon as possible.

The incident took place near Pabbas ice cream parlour at 9:45 pm.

The case took place in Urva police station limits.
